Step 0 - Who is qualified for shoots?
The answer is: EVERYONE
Depending on your experience and preferences, the shoot can be on TFP basis (no shoot fees) or a paid one. You will immediately find out which applies to you after Step 1.
Step 1 - Initial contact
You can contact me either:
If you contact me via email, make sure to include your instagram profile or another page where I can see that you are a real person and not a spambot :)
Step 2 - Chat about ideas
Next we will try to find some ideas together.
- You can send me some ideas (could be a pinterest board, saved posts on instagram, your vision board, etc.)
- You can pick photos you like on my instagram feed or here on my website and I can generate moodboards for you
- I can send you the ideas I'm currently interested in shooting
- If you are feeling creative, we can just discuss the outfits and improvise based on the light and the mood of the day.
Examples:
For me, every shoot is a collaboration. So it is important for you to let me know about your interests, your visual taste and things you are comfortable/not comfortable with.
I will not enforce my ideas on someone who is not interested in or not comfortable with them. Similarly, I will bring my visual style on the ideas we agree on, so they will not look exactly like the example images.
Step 3 - Scheduling & location
At this stage, hopefully we both have an idea about what we will shoot. Now it's time to find a location and a date.
Location:
- My home studio is always available (Amsterdam). Lots of daylight, multiple artificial lighting options and multiple decors for different styles. There is also lots of green & water around for outdoor shoots.
- You can choose a location yourself. It could be your own home, or somewhere cool you know.
- We can rent a location. This will require further discussion as it involves extra costs.
Scheduling:
- Please refer to your calendar and provide at least two dates when you are available for our appointment.
- I appreciate your attention to any other commitments that might impact your availability. It is advisable to confirm dates only if you are certain of your ability to attend.
- During our initial discussion in Step 1, we will discuss the cancellation and rescheduling policy. Your understanding in this matter is highly valued.
Step 4 - Time to shoot!
We made it! We will create some magical images together. You will receive the results within reasonable time as we will discuss.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

- The deposit is half of the agreed rate and needs to be paid to confirm the booking
- Cancellation or rescheduling up to 1 week before the shoot date is free of charge
- Cancellations less than 1 week before the shoot will cost you the deposit
- Rescheduling to another date within less than 1 week before the shoot will cost you half of the deposit
